We spent the entire afternoon in the nearby museum. When leaving, me and Nicole-Chicago wanted some nearby cache to record our today's experience. Unfortunately we did not succeed here.

First stage was quick, the second took us about a quarter of an hour.

Stage 3 was a game stopper. First we nearly gave up after we could not find an access route. Then we ran into one. Crossing the stream was adventurous! 🙂 On the GZ we eventually found something that looked like a magnetic holder but not the thing it once held on its spot. We also thoroughly searched the ground without success. I wonder who could have taken it out of here. Can't imagine who else could visit this place than geocachers and animals. 😃

BTW, when these things get wet, they get wider and sometimes hard to remove from its place. We struggled with a few of them.

No ticks on us (which seemed rather unbelievable), so we were quite satisfied in the end. TFTC!

The first half of the title is OK but the second makes no sense to me. Anyway, I eventually found it but it gave me hard time. The camo is really cool as it was the first thing that I touched after I came there. But it looked like a natural part of ... well, nature. 🙂 So I continued searching around. I can tell you it's not a bad thing to examine the bridge structure from below. And according to the path, I am not the only one who has been there. Yeah, I know the listing says "no bushwhacking is necessary" but when you're desperate... 😉

The nearby bench is perfect for getting the office work done. And for a bit of rest as well.

I found this cache's predecessor. I don't remember where it was but this cache is on a good spot. It is a discreet place and I needed the hint eventually as I overlooked it during my first search. Fortunately I am tall enough to comfortably retrieve it and put it back (ok, I had to stand on my toes 😉)

My aunt decided to rest by the Great Lawn and I went to Maggie Daley Park for step 2 - to get the number of the planks. Awesome work when kids run and jump over the bridge while you're walking step by step concentrated on counting... 😃

Nevertheless, I finished successfully. A couple of feet +/- doesn't make difference and after this number of feet from the bike station I was at the GZ. The cache was there and, just as others already did, I pried it open as well. The wheels with numbers won't spin. The logsheet is in a poor condition but I was able to sign myself.

I'm not writing an additional OAR log, the red wrench is already there.

I think my calculation of mm is correct. As to the building number - I needed to get closer to it and it is there and pretty big so I suppose I have that right as well. But the projection took me to a place which I didn't quite like. I even could not get to the GZ as I would be suspicious to the staff (and they probably would want to sell me something 😃). So either risk that or wait until they close. And I did not have that much time.

We came to see the Big Boy locomotive in West Chicago depot. It is a wonderful machine. But we didn't stay around long, the place was a bit overcrowded. I wanted a West Chicago geocache and I chose this one. Caches in libraries are usually worth it. They are definitely safe and dry. 🙂

We went upstairs and - what now? Where to start? I asked nearby librarian for help and he gave me a couple of hints so I had the cache in my hands in no time. But if you have spare time the information in the cache hint is sufficient and you'll find it eventually.

I realized that I forgot my pen at home but we borrowed one from the staff.

I also wondered why the cache name. When my uncle saw it he recalled the 50's show "Have gun, will travel" and told me about it. 🙂

Neat experience and the librarians were super nice. Thank you for this cache here!

I agree that must have been a unique era...

I came here directly from PPL's House Redux as the time was OK and still enough light. I love these quiet streets. It was almost magical, the twilight was just about to start.

At the GZ I struggled with the lock and pretty much doubted the information in the hint was correct. It was, I recalled what one of the older logs said. So after setting the combo I pushed in, then pulled and voila - it opened! 🙂 Maybe it would use a little oil, IDK...

I sort of expected someone coming out of the house but they probably did not notice me. The only people I met was a muggle couple with a baby in a stroller. I heard them in advance so I waited a minute pretending that I was waiting for someone and playing with my phone. 😉

I enjoyed the time here, thank you!

I am staying nearby and I felt like going for an evening walk. Looked in the map and saw this one not even a mile away.

Refreshing walk, the sun was low and temperature just about right. I passed the fire station and walked the new Klein Creek Trail. Then the time came when I needed to turn right. Well, I probably did not take the best way. 🤣 If I only had investigated the aerial map... So I enjoyed a LOT of bushwhacking but never mind.

The cache is there and everything works as expected. The lock, then first (little) shock, second shock (with smile 🙂). Awesome hand work! 😮

Today with my muggle uncle. He even walked with me pretty far. The blacktop bicycle route, then left to the woods. Cozy dirty path. Then I made another left onto an overgrown nearly non-visible path with no-bicycles sign. My uncle refused to go there with me, he was afraid of ticks. So I walked on alone, had to climb over several trees. I actually loved it! 🙂

At one point I had to get off the path, my target was about 200 ft to the right. I found a path-like corridor thru the bush that lead me rather comfortably to the GZ. About 10 mins searching revealed nothing. I recalled the last log and that helped me big time. I found it! 😃

Interesting "box". So that's why "Hole N 1". 😉 I wanted to write a couple of sentences into the paper log as in those good ol' times but - I was standing still already for two minutes. And mosquites finally realized their opportunity and started coming at me in swarms. I didn't have a repellent. I'm sorry this was not a place and time to be a writer. I put on my sweatshirt, that helped a bit but I only desired to finish my log, close the cache and replace it. And retreat from here! 😃

Once I started moving the insect problem disappeared. The way back was OK. We saw a couple on a blanket under trees by the lot and I think they passed us when we were heading to the cache. They were enjoying the sunny day.

With Nicole-Chicago. She parked on Carl R. Hanson Woods parking lot and we went south. Crossed the Golf Rd and continued down a forest track. We passed a peeing maintenance guy. He wasn't lucky as he had his tractor's engine on so he could not hear us. 😃His fault, he should have carefully looked around before he started his action, he would have seen us approaching.

I was getting repeated lessons about poison ivy from Nicole-Chicago. It is good to know how to identify this beast.

When we were perpendicular to the cache location, we turned left. I had been afraid of mosquitoes but there were only a few. Terrain was ok, we even found something like deer path.

My experienced colleague quickly located the cache. But it was a mess, the logbook was completely soaked. We replaced it with a new sheet we happened to have with us.

Great hike, now it is time to have some food in Panera Bread! 🙂 TFTC!

The last day of our trip and I planned only one cache for today - this one. Wanted to be at home as soon as possible. But we took our time here. First at GZ, I went to gather the required info and watched people for a while. They were coming with blankets and food and were apparently about to spend this beautiful Monday (that sounds weird but it was the Memorial Day 🙂) on the beach. Maybe some of them even planned to go in the water... 🤐

Since we needed to visit restrooms, we moved over to the pier parking lot. Now that was a busy place! We did not stay here longer than we had to, hopped into our car and headed back to I 196 and south. Thank you for this cache!

Another interesting thing was that it was fog today. And pretty dense. I had to walk along the pier nearly to the lighthouse to be able to take the required photo.

This was the first thing I examined after diseambarking from our boat. But we had a briefing with captain Mike at the plastic map and then set off for the island hike. After two hours we were back and had 10 spare minutes so we started looking at the memorial again. It was remarkable how many different types of rocks there were. And it is also great that this island is now public and that we could visit it.

This day started with tasty and nutritious breakfast at Danny's. It would be much needed as it was about 55 °F outside (13 °C) and we also noticed it had just started raining.

Fortunately it did not take long and it was just cold and cloudy when we were driving to the Elmwood Township Marina.

We parked where Icy Paws told me to and shortly after that she arrived in a giant truck. And then came third car with the rest of our group, Luckyastrodiver, Dawnzie and TexQuester and we were complete.

Captain Mike gave us a short briefing as to what to do and what not and off we went. Nice ride but I was glad I had my scarf under my jacket and a hoodie on my head, it was so cold! 😀

After some 20 minutes we landed at the Power Island dock and captain Mike helped us to get required photo for this virtual. So I am attaching that with thanks for this virtual!

We checked into our hotel in Traverse City, took our baggages to our room and rested for a while. Then got in the car again and headed to the peninsula.

After couple of miles we saw signs alerting drivers about the road ahead being closed due to a marathon race. There was today's date on them. It was Bayshore Marathon 2026. But we were lucky, it all ended at about 1 PM. 🙂

There was no additional threat that would prevent us from reaching the peninsula end. I asked my uncle to pull over at a start of a forest track and had him drive on another mile to the end of the road and wait for me at the parking lot there. In like five minutes I was on the GZ, just had to climb a little but pretty steep slope.

I saw the cache at 50 feet as it was uncovered. Animals? Never mind, probably only cachers go here. And mosquitoes. They immediately sensed prey and started coming at me. I zipped my sweatshirt and put hoodie on my head, that served as an armor for a couple of minutes.

The inside of the cache was moist, I even poured out some water. Nevertheless, I was able to sign the log, that's the most important thing. 🙂

I continued on a nearby path and shortly joined the original track again. It's great that the trails are so precisely mapped in OSM. It was a comfortable hike until I reached the war memorial and the lot with my uncle waiting. He recommended that I should see the lighthouse so I went to see it. Also visited the beautiful beach.

Now we had to drive pretty much off the lake. But no problem for this unique cache. 🙂 The countryside was nearly abandoned, we only drove thru a couple of towns. But I loved it.

I noticed the county road number - 612. Oh yeah, hence the cache name. 🙂

With our SUV we were able to get like six hundred ft from the cache. I set off for a hike to the GZ while my uncle stayed with the car. There was a deep sand on the track which made it not so comfortable for walking. But people in off-road vehicles that passed me apparently enjoyed it.

I was happy when I could finally turn right and descend to this small neat valley. I again heard those vehicles but did not see them and they couldn't see me.

And there it is. Awesome! 🙂 August 2000... Unbelievable such caches still exist.

I sat on a log for a while enjoying this place and time and then slowly walked back.

I chose this cache for its creation date - December 2003. Good for Jasmer challenge. 🙂

Nice campground! We parked at the end by restrooms which I needed to visit. And then to the deep woods. It was fun to observe the campers. They were having a good time, some camp fires were burning, kids were playing games...

The wood was beautiful. Comfortable paths and no trash. I loved it! Ten minute hike and I was on the GZ. Hmm, maybe there? That really looks suspicious! 😀 And yeah, it revealed seeked treasure.

I went like sixty feet down the woods to be covered from potential hikers on the trail and sat on a fallen tree. Fine geocaching office! The maintenance just failed with keeping the window screens intact, I had so many mosquites in here! 😀

Moisture somehow gets to the cache. I poured out about a spoon of water. The logbook is wet but I was able to sign it. The mosquitoes would agree if I stayed for a while and dried the cache up but I didn't like that idea. 🙂

I read two information boards about aspen, interesting. And met a couple of groups hiking in the forest as well.

Definitely enjoyed this one. Thank you for bringing me to this amazing place!

After breakfast in Manistique we drove east to St. Ignace and right to this magnificent bridge. This was my second time here (the first in 1993... 😮)

We took the next right in Mackinaw City and shortly after that parked by this park. It was windy and cold! I put my jacket on and went to make the required photo. You can tell from my face that the wind had to be annoying.

I went round the lighthouse building and headed to our car. Interesting thing - there were tons of this mosquito-like insect on the lot despite the air was so chilly. But they weren't mosquitoes. They apparently had a mass rendez-vous here and were eager to create a new generation. 😉

It was also a good thing that they had restrooms here. 😉

We moved on to the nearby Shell to get a coffee (not very good, had weird odour) and then direction Traverse City.

I hadn't prepared any cache here but my uncle wanted to see this curiosity. We came in the evening and were not even sure about it being open. But it was (until 10 PM, 😮).

I looked online whether there was any cache around which I was pretty sure there would be. And found this one. The tasks were OK so we boarded the raft, I took the coordinates and my uncle started moving the raft as noone was apparently about to do it. 🙂 The swirling sand in the springs was amazing.

We enjoyed the stay here and drove on to our accomodation in Manistique. Answers sent, thank you!

Nice little old town! We pulled over on the other side of the street. The sidewalk to the bridge was heavily guarded by two Jehova witnesses but we managed to sneak past them. 🙂

Interesting that there used to be a railway here. The map shows bikepath going from this bridge to the main railroad in Grafton. That probably once was the branch to Cedarburg. I like railway history as I am a train driver myself.

Nice walk from the lot, we chose two different trails for getting to / from the cache. We saw a couple fishermen and talked to one. Some people were walking their dogs. Some of the manually painted poles were nice! 🙂

Quiet (if you actually ignore the traffic from Cermak Road) and pleasant place. I spotted the cache nearly instantly. There was a man nearby with a hose washing his car (interesting, cemetery as a carwash?)

We went on to Five Guys for lunch and then tried to find old Czech restaurant "Klas" just to realize it had been demolished... 😟

We read the hint, we read the recommendation from the certitude output. The terrain is 1,5 stars which actually means "not accessible for wheelchair but almost", we kept that in mind and searched thoroughly on such places. I even investigated spots that would be in a wheelchair user wildest dreams. Nothing. We'll see next time. 🙂

After six years I finally found it! 😃I must have investigated that exact spot at least ten times the previous years but it always felt like another steel part to my finger. Probably. But today for whatever reason the nano was not attached the way it should be and it slightly moved when I touched it....

The caboose is nice and I have seen several times in different day parts and in different situations, e.g. with kids on the roof.

Thanks to the owner for being so nice and giving me a more specifif hint about the location. Event with that it took us half an hour. 😃

Nice place! My uncle said he had never been here.

We drove to the Little Europe Deli to buy some groceries in a Czech store. This cache was on our way from the Mission BBQ.

It was not a long walk from the lot to the North island and my uncle was the first to see the 3 character code we were after.

We went over to the visitors center. The old staff member was very nice to us, I told him I was a geocacher and was bringing him a code for a geocache and - he knew nothing. He was completely lost. 😃But he picked up a phone, called someone and got the right instructions so in a minute we had the cache in front of us. What a great box! 😮 BTW this is the second time I found a virtual with a physical box. 🙂

We then looked around the visitors center, it was worth it. I needed to see local restrooms, it was worth it as well. 😃

Right after our lunch at Mission BBQ we came over to this cache but there was a guy sitting in a car next to it, he was constantly getting out of the car and then getting back into it. We watched him for a couple of minutes and then drove to another cache. We were unsuccessful there so after some 10 mins we were back. The weird guy was gone. Great! So I went out, but still had to wait another couple of minutes until people who were standing in front of the Wendy's were driven away. This is a busy place... Then it was rather quick, no problem with replacing the cache.

It's already been 26 years? Unbelievable! And I'm 18 years old geocacher (I started in February 2008). TFTC! 🙂

Nice puzzle, interesting name. The solution came to my mind rather quickly after I opened the cache page so I was ready for today's visit of Spring Creek Forest Preserve. Well, the final was a bit off... but we had a car. 😉

No problem with the sign and my aunt drove me to the cache. There were gardeners working nearby but I just looked around for a while and then grabbed the cache which was where I expected it to be. Good hide, the guys could see nothing. Worse thing came up then, I could not open the box. 😃 Eventually a little knock-knock did the trick.

During my stay, a couple of quick shadows came and went. Airplanes going to land on O'Hare obstructed the sun light. I had never experienced such a thing. 😮

Visited the area with my aunt. She used to like walking around the lake a lot, years ago. Today we saw maybe 20 airplanes flying above us, descending to O'Hare.

Opět jsme s kamarádem zajeli na kávičku a pak to vzali přes hřiště. Byl tu klid, nic se tu nehrálo, jen za hřištěm u toho malého "Řípu" bylo pár dětí. Pěkně udělaná schránka, díky!

Duby mám rád. Je pod nimi vždycky tak nějak dobře. 🙂

Kamarád měl chuť na kávu, tak jsme zajeli do Coffeespotu. A pak jsme zajeli ke škole a šli na žaluda. Byl tam, v něm supr malý logbůček. 😃 Zbývá už jen několik stránčiček.

Byli jsme se mrknout i oba druhy dubů. Já trubka se nepodíval až dolů do listingu, kde je rozdíl vysvětlený. Tak jsme pouze odhadli, že ten, co má zpoždění ve vývoji (malé lístky) je zimní. Taky jsme okomentovali místní školu, že je dost velká. Asi sem dojíždějí i děti z okolních obcí.

Bylo pod mrakem, trošku vlastně chladno. Všichni už dnes chodili v tričku a kraťasech. Já ne a tím pádem jsem to vychytal, bylo mi akorát. 🙂

Díky za keš a přivedení do mladého stromořadí. Jsem zvědav, jak bude růst.

Povídání o kříži je zajímavé. Hledání keše už míň. Minule jsem tu měl DNF a nechal jsem si od kolegů napovědět. I tak mi to nějakou dobu zabralo. To maskování je velmi účinné. Čekal jsem keš jinde a trošku mě to zklamalo, ale budiž. Hlavně, že drží. 🙂

Překvapilo mě u infotabule zaparkované auto. V zákazu.

Po obědě jsem se vrátil na parking v zatáčce a vyrazil ke keši. Při domácí přípravě to vypadalo, že je tu celkem divoký terén, tak jsem si připravil waypoint pro nejsnadnější přístup ke keši. Nakonec to stejně bylo vše jinak. 🙂

Narazil jsem na mysliveckou chatu, moc pěkný areál tam mají. A pak už pro keš. Terén skutečně začínal být náročnější. Až to přišlo - nevěřil jsem, co tu matka příroda vytvořila, jak už pravil nějaký kačer přede mnou. 😮

Podařilo se mi tam dostat a nezabít se. Tam to vypadalo přímo pohádkově. Bylo skoro jasné, kam bych dal žabku královnu. A tam skutečně cosi bylo. Ale ouha, je to trošku jiná žabka než vidím v listingu, navíc rozbitá. A keš nikde. Zajímalo by mě, kdo odnesl původní žabku s keší a dal tam tuto (viz foto). A proč...

Prohledal jsem to i kolem, ale keš nejspíš skutečně bývala tam uvnitř. Tak teď už není....

Mňo, od Babí hory jsem šel lehce rychleji, chtěl jsem stihnout meníčka na Haldě v Boršicích. Dobrý oběd, to je přece zlatý hřeb dne! 😀

Ale už jsem vlastně šel zpět k autu, jen mírnou oklikou. Ke studánce Marii mě cestou navádělo několik cedulí a před schodištěm jsem si přečetl informační tabuli ohledně vzniku.

Zklamání přišlo až poté. Už schodiště vypadalo jak po několika letech po Dni trifidů. Rozpadá se a zjevně tu už roky chybí údržba. A studánka byla bohužel na suchu. Jestli tu bývala dobrá voda, těžko říct, ale vždy hledím s nedůvěrou na studánky pod plochami, které jsou zemědělsky využívány, hnojeny... Nicméně před těmi deseti lety, když to tu čerstvě udělali, to musela být paráda.

Ale neva. Keš tu je, zapsal jsem se a už je opravdu čas vyrazit na ten oběd. 🙂

Dnes bylo hezky, tak jsem si udělal výlet na tuto keš, která vypadala zajímavě. V tom dnešním balastu už si člověk musí umět vybírat. 🙂

Ve Staráku jsem nakoupil vajíčka a na pumpě si dal párek v rohlíku a kafčo 🙂 a pokračoval na parking od Studánky Marie (ta měla přijít jako druhá). Tady už jedno auto stálo - terénní pickup s otevřenými dveřmi a nějaký pán v montérkách odcházel s jakousi tyčí na pole. Pak ji tam zarazil do země a něco tam studoval. Když se vrátil, ptal jsem se, jestli měřil půdní vlhkost. Řekl, že dělal vertikální sondu - ze vzorku budou zjišťovat obsah živin. Zajímavé. 🙂

Šel jsem podél širých vinohradů, které vypadaly nějak uschle. Ale je možné, že víno začne rašit a zelenat se až později. Cestou jsem potkal krásné posezení u křížku a jakousi dřevěnou zříceninu.

Pak nastal ten okamžik, kdy jsem musel zvolit, kudy do těch křovisek. Našel jsem jakousi pěšinu a vyrazil po ní. Došel jsem k novému posedu, rozhlédl se, všude křoviny. Podle fotomapy z roku 2001 tu býval terasovitě upravený terén. Možná tu byly kdysi taky vinice, svah je otočený k jihu.

Někde kousek ode mě, ale níž, jsem slyšel hlasy. Nikoho jsem nezahlédl, možná to přiletělo až z Újezdce.

Teď už jsem šel po jakýchsi srnčích stezkách až jsem narazil na solidnější pěšinu, která mě přivedla na louku pod Babí horou. Nechtělo se mi drápat nahoru, tak jsem to vzal podél hřebínku po další pěšině až k jakémusi sedlu. A pak zpět po sympatickém hřebeni ke skalce na konci.

Bylo tu moc hezky! Silně tu voněly borovice. Skalka si své prožila, je na ní vytesána spousta nápisů. Ale čitelné to moc není. Dost možná tu dřív býval výhled a bývalo to oblíbené místo na schůzky. 😉

A teď tu kešku. Dolů jsem se dostal naokolo a hned ji zahlédl. Zpět jsem to zkusil přímým výstupem. To byl úžasný nápad, bylo to hodně prudké a pořád jsem klouzal dolů. 😀

Chvíli jsem na skalce poseděl, logoval a prohlížel obsah. Byly tu dva TB, oba jsem vzal, protože tu byly půl roku. Ať tu nestráví dalšího půl roku. Během logování se ze Syrovína ozval zvon. Bylo poledne. A pomalu čas na oběd. 😉

Potěšil mě původní logbook se zápisem FTFkáře. Takovou historii miluju!

Zpět k vinohradům jsem šel po nově objevené pěšině.

Díky za zajímavé informace o této továrně na kočáry. Pěkně to panu Weiglovi šlo, skoro šedesát let. I první hospodářskou krizi v roce 1900 překonal (o té jsem dosud ani nevěděl). Až ta druhá ve třicátých letech byla osudná. K tomu ještě nezvedený synátor... Prostě nějak se pak přestalo dařit.

Měl jsem slušnou pauzu mezi dvěma vlaky, tak jsem se odebral na Parník na dobrý nedělní oběd. A po něm jsem se vydal na tuto keš, není to zas tak daleko. Bylo moc hezky. Vzal jsem to sice ze špatné strany, ale brzy jsem ji měl. 🙂

Do Alberta často chodím si koupit něco k jídlu. Koho by napadlo, že tu byla továrna na kočáry a saně.

Vyřídil jsem nějaké vyšetření v nemocnici, koupil si v jednom bufetu svačinu a v druhém espresso 😉 a před devátou vyrazil pěšky do centra, že si cestou dám nějakou tu keš a potom oběd. Mimochodem, ranní cestu vlakem do Zlína jsem v Otrokovicích začal tak, že jsem chutě skočil do Sharka před nádražní budovou a za chvíli překvapeně hleděl, jak se řítím ku Starému Městu. 🤣 Vyloženě kovářova kobyla... 😃 Naštěstí ten Šaryk to ve Staráku obratem točil zpět a rovnou do Vizovic. Malé zpoždění jsem na vyšetření měl, ale telefonicky se to urovnalo a nebyl to problém.

Všiml jsem si tedy na mapce "Koček z Podvesné". Sice mysterka, ale aha! - je to spíš takový letterbox. Super! Sice se od úvodek budu vracet zase k nemocnici, ale nevadí. Bylo dnes docela hezky. A toho syčáka Čendu přece musím prohnat!🙂

Na sloupcích už nebyl, dobře, spočítal jsem je a vyrazil k rozhlasu. Číslo taky bez problémů i následně lampy.

Jen ten kamarád u hřiště selhal. Především nebyl na místě. Asi ho mají kočky v údržbě či co. 🙂 Nebo možná odjel na léčení, protože trošku blábolil. Odhad vzdálenosti mu zrovna nešel. Místo 10 metrů bylo spíš přes 40. Zbytek už šel a fotohint pomohl. Tam bych opravdu jinak nešel, to skutečně vypadá jako cestička do zahrady.

No jak říkám, identitu kamaráda jsem si tipl a tipl jsem dobře. Do smrků jsem nenarazil (to bych stejně musel mít přetáčivé nohy 😃). Ani na elektroskříňce Čenda už nebyl. Ale poslední číslo jsem měl. Výpočet - a vypadalo to uvěřitelně.

A tam bylo opravdu pozoruhodné místečko. A keš zaměřená velmi dobře. A konečně jsem chytil toho pacholka Čendu! 😃Ale procházka v jeho stopách byla moc příjemná, tak jsem ho jen pohladil, připsal se mu do zápisníku a popřál hodně sil do prohánění dalších hledačů. Snad jsem vrátil keš dle instrukcí jen tak, aby se dala lehce vzít. Sám jsem musel trochu zápasit.

Díky za "dobrodružství v temných uličkách", bylo to fajn! Čtyřnohou kočku jsem cestou překvapivě žádnou neviděl. Dvounohých pár jo. 😉 No a teď už jsem mohl zamířit - přes jedno DNFko - na ten oběd do "Prostě restaurace". 🙂

Při dnešní procházce po Zlíně mezi obědem a odjezdem vlaku jsem si zajel i nahoru na vyhlídkovou plošinu a pak si z ulice udělal foto s mrakodrapem.

Mezi vlaky 885 a 888. Po skončení posunu jsem měl půl hodiny čas, tak jsem si konečně zašel na tuto keš. Občas nedaleko ní parkuju, když mám nástup ve Staráku. 🙂 Vzhledem k této skutečnosti je pozoruhodné, jak dlouho mi trvalo, než jsem se konečně o odlov pokusil...

U Vectronu jsem si všiml jednoho malého fanouška železniční dopravy s maminkou, tak jsem ho nechal nakouknout do kabiny. Prý má doma simulátory a hraje o sto šest. Kdoví, co z něj bude. 😉

Díky za pěkné shrnutí historie. Ta se mi připomene vždy, když při příjezdu od Nedakonic vidím v přednádraží ten vodní jeřáb. To zahájení elektrického provozu si jako malý přibližně pamatuju. A díky za keš!

Předal jsem kolegovi Slovácký expres (dříve Šohaj 😉) a rozhodl se jít do depa na spaní pěšky. A taky se podívat po nádraží. A taky zkusit tuto keš. 🙂 Už mi chyběla jediná indicie a sice z té pamětní tabulky.

No, pohybují se tu večer různí tvorové, musím říct. 😃 Zjistil jsem potřebné, vypočítal souřadnice - OK, to je v mém směru.

Zašel jsem se podívat přes parčík na náměstí na druh kolejové dopravy, na který oprávnění nemám. Zprava přijela 15t. Překvapilo mě, jak tiše. A taky ten odpich při rozjezdu! Těch šestnáct motorů je znát. Pak z druhé strany dorazila KT8, ta byla hlučnější, včetně typického kňučení starší elektrovýzbroje.

Keš na místě byla a protože se poblíž na schodcích usadilo něco, co se podle mě chystalo vylepšit mix látek v krvi přímou injektáží, tak jsem se vrátil až na nádraží a tam v poklidu zalogoval. No co, když podvečerní procházka, tak procházka. 🙂

Při návratu už bylo na GZ čisto, tak jsem vrátil keš a pokračoval na nocležnu. Poprvé jsem byl u Botiče. Vody tam teď moc neteče, ale i tak se dole snažil kachní pár něco ulovit a jezdil sem tam.

Sice bylo ještě chladno, ale přestalo foukat a byl fajn večer. Před budovou strojmistrů voněl nádherně nějaký kvetoucí strom...

Díky moc ownerovi za keš a taktéž, jakožto emeritnímu reviewerovi, za schválení mé první keše v roce 2008. Kruci, to je doba... 🙂 A za námět k procházce po velmi osobitém prostoru nočního vršovického nádraží. 😃

Dnes bylo vyloženě jarně - vždyť je prvního března. 🙂 (včera bylo taky, ale to mi nebylo dobře). A já vyrazil na dopolední procházku pěšky. Daleko to nebylo.

Místo nenadchlo - jsou tu všude odpadky, nic echt teda. Co tak tady zorganizovat CITO? Tento prostor by pár lidí za hodinu pěkně vyčistilo.

Jestli keš byla dřív přimontovaná, nevím, je volně v rozsoše, jak již bylo psáno. Ale logbook v suchu, dokonce jsem si našel pěkný posez na logování na větvi. 😉

Tohle byla tematická cache, dnes jsem v té nemocnici skutečně byl. A když jsem alergologii opustil, zamířil jsem procházkou sem. Pravda, nikoliv kolem, ale vnitřkem nemocnice.

Umístění keše dobře zvolené, je tam v suchu, skrytá mudlům a hlavně se dá nenápadně odlovit za simulace telefonování. Zajímalo by mě ale, kdo kromě mě si s tím ještě dává takovou práci... 😉

Na mostě jsem potkal kamarádku, kterou jsem neviděl už ... drahně let! Ona s nemocnicí souvisí, pracovala tam jako sestřička a teď prý učí na zdravce. Moc jí to slušelo. 🙂

Zajel jsem se podívat k Bagráku, jestli by nešlo se dostat na ostrov. Už při příchodu mě zaujaly podivné bublavé zvuky pod ledem. Říkám si: sakra, tak je to rybník nebo řeka? 😃
Nicméně to samé se ozývalo i naproti ostrůvku. I tak jsem slezl na led, ale všude kolem v ledu praskalo. Pak zapraskalo i pode mnou, tak jsem se radši stáhnul. Takto se pevný led nechová (když porovnám zkušenosti z Uhlisek nebo před lety ze zamrzlé Moravy).

Pokud se mám koupat, tak radši v létě! 😃

Po kadeřnici v Otrokovicích jsem si sem zajel. Skibidi nebo 67 - no, každému, co jeho jest. Jsem zvědav, jaká ptákovina se v mluvě vynoří za rok.😃Challenge je jednoduchá, tu splní i začátečník s pár keškama.

Trochu jsem se bál, jestli u finálky nezapadnu, ale toho sněhu není tolik. Zašel jsem si pro ni, když nic nejelo, stejně tak vrátil. V autě se logovalo příjemně. Díky za keš!

Sklon je čím dál větší, takže jsem u další bílé paní byl rychle. Poslední procházková, i sem mě přivedla geodálnice. Je tak nějak akorát čas zamířit do Slušovic na oběd. Nakonec to padlo na Přerovskou hospodu a smažák! 😃 Neměl jsem ho ani nepamatuju, tak proč ne. A byl dobrý.

Na blízkém horizontu vlevo jsem viděl nějakou vesničku (asi Březovou) a nad ní černý dým. Snad tam nehořelo.

Chvíli jsem keš neviděl a pak mi to došlo. Tohle je jediná, kde se leze! Zaklel jsem jak doktor Vlach. 😃 Ale nakonec to tak hrozné nebylo - batoh dolů, rukavice na ruce. Lezení v pohodě.

Od dvojky za sebou slyším nějaké dítě. Mám snad halucinace? Nemám, pak jsem je i spatřil. Ukecaný cipísek v červeném, maminka a pes. Zřejmě vyrazili na vycházku z Veselé.

Pěšina vedla do údolí, ale tam já jsem nechtěl. Takže jsem odbočil a za chvíli byl u trojky. Oni mě naštěstí nepronásledovali, zamířili do údolí a na druhé straně nahoru směr vesnička. Díky za keš!

Zaparkoval jsem u elektrorozvodny a vyrazil na procházku do lesa. Mrazík je slušný, ale zároveň bezvětří. Cestou stoupám, tak jsem se trochu zahřál. Ale první keš stejně nepříjemně chladí do prstů.

Dnes fajn procházka, vzal jsem to zespoda (měli jsme cestou ještě nějaké pojednání). Krabička byla trošku přimrzlá k pytlíku, ale žádná hrůza. Jinak je v nejlepším pořádku.

Vesele jsem se dobrodil čerstvým snížkem zpět ke kamarádovi a mohli jsme frčet domů. Díky za keš o něčem!

Cestou z Brda jsem to zpět na Bunč vzal jinudy a zastavil se pro tuto keš. Jednotlivé stage jsem objel při různých příležitostech během roku.

Nečekal jsem, že po těch mých dvou WN už nebude žádný nález. A upřímně, trochu jsem se toho bál. To obvykle značí několik nenapsaných DNF.

Když jsem dnes přišel na místo a viděl pozůstatky po těžbě, tak jsem lehce zmalomyslněl. "Takže je to tak, řádili tu dřevorubci a keš je asi fuč", pomyslel jsem si. Ale i tak jsem se dal do hledání. Zkřehlými prsty prohrabal několik míst dle hintu a nikde nic. Užuž jsem psal DNF, když jsem se ještě začetl do starších logů, kde kačerka psala něco o tom, že se podívala na typické geomísto. "No pravda, kdybych já ji tady ukrýval, tak bych ji dal... no asi tam." A jak jsem se blížil, tak už jsem viděl, že bude úspěch. 🙂

Rozdíl je asi 10 m, ale budiž, to ještě jde, to mohlo být i mojí GPSkou nebo rozložením satelitů. Jen ten hint bych asi změnil - tak, jak je napsaný, označuje objekt po práci člověka (aspoň tak to chápu já). Kdežto já keš našel u objektu, který vznikl prací přírody... 😉

Zaparkoval jsem u Bunče a vydal se na procházku na Brdo, když mi to nevyšlo na Silvestra (v době eventu jsem seděl v rychlíku z Prahy a byl tuším někde u Pardubic 😉).

Zbylé dvě z tria mám odloveny na Silvestra před pěti lety. Proč ne tuto, to už si nepamatuju. Asi se mi tehdy nechtělo vracet, protože to bylo kus zpět do kopce.

Dnes to bylo jednoduché, vlevo v bok, opatrně sejít dolů na těleso dálnice, rozhlédnout se, aby mě nic nesrazilo, 😃 a na druhé straně nahoru. Keš jsem viděl z dálky, vše je v pořádku.

Když jsem logoval, tak jsem zaslechl motor. Pro jistotu jsem se schoval za strom. Od Brda k Bunči jelo terénní auto, nejspíš lesáci.

Tak konečně - pěkný lehce mrazivý den, zastavil jsem se u Havlíčka a udělal si fotku u pamětní desky.

Odsud mám příhodu asi 15 let zpět: šel jsem v zimě do fitka, už byla tma. A šel jsem právě po tomto chodníku, co je u Šnejdárkova domu. V jednom okně se svítilo a nebyly zatažené závěsy. Bylo tam takové teplé světlo do oranžova, v křesle seděla dívka, nohy měla opřené o taburetku, na kolenou knížku a četla si. Kdo to byl, nevím, měl jsem na pohled tak dvě sekundy za chůze. Už jsem tam nikdy nic takového nezahlédl.

Zašel jsem i na hřbitov, na hrobu je vrstva sněhu, tak nejsou čitelné nápisy.

Zajímavá informace z listingu, jak čtyřletý Josef zastavil rychlík v Napajedlích. Tehdejší rychlík ovšem supěl do 80 km/h (odhad). Dnes je to dvakrát tolik, tak snad mi to nějaký další Pepík neprovede... 😉

Ha, zdá se, že toto je mé číslo #5000. 😉 Objekt se pro magnetku nabízí, ale jak ho prozkoumat, když je tu tak rušno? Pomohl selfie foťák a ve vhodné chvíli jsem zjistil, kde si ježeček ustlal. A v druhé takové chvíli jsem ho chňapnul. 🙂

Snad tam přes zimu nezmrzne. Díky!

Ooo, šneček, nenápadně si tam sedí. Pěkná drive-in, ani jsem nevypínal motor. Pozoruhodné, jak 3D tiskárny pokročily a zvládnou i závit. Díky!

Zaparkoval jsem u traplické ČOV a pokračoval po cyklostezce. Bylo mrazivo (- 6 °C), ale sluníčko. Konečně žádná inverze.

Na úrovni keše šla proti mě rodinka s dětmi, tak jsem je nejdřív minul a šel se podívat kousek dál a obhlédnout jezírka. Pak jsem se vrátil a kolmo ke keši.

Žabka je na místě. Nejdřív jsem myslel, že je to ta gumová, kterou máme doma. Vypadá velmi podobně. 🙂

Vrátil jsem se tak akorát včas, začali hodně chodit pejskaři. Díky za keš!

No když si tak pročítám předchozí logy a zvažuju svou dnešní anabázi tady... neříkám, že je keš přímo prokletá, ale začarovaná asi ano. 🙂

Parkoval jsem na doporučeném parkovišti a slunce bylo ještě nad obzorem. Pravda, těsně. Ale i tak si říkám - bezva, to za světla v pohodě dám. No, nechval dnes před večerem...!

Dvacet minut jsem hledal stage. Slunce zapadlo a světla začalo ubývat. Prozkoumal jsem všemožná místa, zvlášť ta, kde by mohl být bobr. To by měla být nápověda, přece jen si staví domov určitým způsobem. Jenže jeho noru jsem nezahlédl. Tak co teď. Přítel na telefonu?

Zkontaktoval jsem Jannyho a požádal o pomoc. Aha, tam! Tak daleko jsem nekoukal. To mi nějak nedošlo, že to může být i na místě, které není bezprostředně prozkoumatelné. Uf!

Jdu tam a stage mám v cuku letu, aspoň toto šlo hladce. 🙂 Trochu zklamalo, jak jsou souřadnice umístěny - pro zkřehlé prsty nic moc. Já to čekal přímo ve struktuře toho objektu! Souřadnice opsány, nic mi nespadlo (ale jak bude foukat, tak to stoprocentně někomu uletí!) a opouštím místo. V listingu bych opravil "porostlé mechem" na "porostlé lišejníkem" (pro mě by to dnes asi stejně rozdíl neznamenalo).

Na GZ jsem našel barevně zajímavý objekt, samozřejmě ho zkontroloval, ale ten od ownera nebyl. No a ještě těch 15 metrů směrem k JZD, jak říká listing. A tam jsem začal hledání, které nebralo konce. Kupodivu jsem ani nijak moc nenadával. Cítil jsem se nějak rezignovaně. 🙂 Za deset minut už jsem byl nucen vytáhnout čelovku a nad mnou rozprostřela svůj jiskřivý háv paní Noc.

Našel jsem pěkné geoobjekty, balancoval nad vodou, civěl do křovin... No nakonec jsem opět zkontaktoval kamaráda a stručně řečeno - spolu jsme to dali! 😀 Tak nevím, ale pro mě to bylo 10 metrů směrem OD JZD. Je ale dost možné, že jsem si špatně opsal souřadnice. Dnes bylo možné všechno. 😀

Keška je moc pěkně udělána. Ten mechanismus je hezký. Má jen příliš velké vůle, v podstatě to na mě samo vypadlo.

Jsem zvědav, co mě čeká u dalších 3D. Trochu se děsím. Ale uvidíme. 🙂
